UL 3173 Cross-Linked Polyethylene Hook-Up Wire

UL 3173 wire is a hookup wire suitable for use as switchboard or SIS wiring. It is commonly used in lighting equipment, motor and coil leads, transformers, control panels, military equipment, industrial controls, computers, electronic equipment wiring with higher temperature requirements. and appliance wiring applications. UL3173 wire is manufactured from a single conductor and stranded tinned copper insulated with XLPE insulation. This construction allows for a uniform, flexible, concentric, and quality wire.

For internal wiring of appliances where exposed to temperatures not exceeding 125°C (UL), in poweroperated dispensing units and where exposed to gasoline vapors. For use as leads of transformers, motors, ballasts, solenoids, etc., where the baking temperature of the windings, coils, etc., to which they are attached, will not exceed 160°C (CSA).

UL 3271 Hook Up Wire may be used for internal wiring of appliances, computers, test equipment, business machines and other office and control equipment.
